Gracepoint Minneapolis is a church on the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities campus, focusing on ministry to college students at the U. Whether you are looking for a church to call home, or are new to Christianity, we invite you to join us.

We meet for our Sunday Worship Service on the 2nd floor of Double Tree Hotel (511 Huron Blvd), which is just a stone's throw away from campus!

What To Expect

Attending a new church can be an intimidating experience. What is going to happen? What should I wear? Will they make me stand? Will there be people like me? We don’t want you to feel uncertain about visiting Gracepoint Minneapolis. So here’s what to expect on a typical Sunday:

You don’t need to dress up. When you arrive, you will be warmly greeted and ushered in to a seat by our welcome team. Our praise team leads a time of singing, we hear a sermon, and our service ends with prayer. Afterwards, we like to share a home-cooked meal together.

At our church, you’ll find people who have been Christians for years alongside of people who are checking out church for the first time in their lives. We invite you to join us!

An Acts 2 Church...

For many of us, college was a transformative time: Jesus' all-consuming call grabbed a hold of our hearts as we experienced the richness of life within a biblical Christian community. It's an experience we want to pass on to others - an Acts 2 church and community. And so, we focused on college ministry, plant churches in college towns, and encourage every one of our members to live in loving, sacrificial service and ministry.

The dream of "an Acts 2 church in every college town" excites and inspires us. Spurred on by this vision and the Great Commission, we began to plant churches around the country, and even overseas. In 2010, Gracepoint Davis and Berkeley sent a team of 21 from California to Minnesota to begin Gracepoint Minneapolis. We are thankful for what God has done in our midst thus far, and we are excited to see what God has in store for the future as we hope to watch this vision grow!

No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, we'd love to help you learn more about God and live out what you learn. New to Christianity? Not yet a Christ follower, but interested in what religion is all about? We invite you to take Course 101 and "come and see" for yourself. Or, if you're a Christian who wants to grow in Christ, we offer discipleship classes to help you to further your walk with God. We hope that your college years are not just a time where you are trying to survive, but an opportunity for you to thrive in a relationship with God and others!
